Pvt Loyd S. Carter was born in 1925 to William Amos & Betty A Collins Carter. He enlisted in the US Army and was attached to the 803rd Tank Destroyer Battalion. Pvt. Carter was killed in action 15 Oct 1944 in Germany and buried in the Henri-Chapelle American Cemetery, Henri-Chapelle, Belgium
